The following describes the policy of Power Assets Holdings Limited (hereinafter "the Company") on personal data in relation to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

Purpose of Collection

To facilitate the Company to provide services and information from time to time, it is necessary for customers and other persons to supply the Company with personal data in connection with the operations of the Company.

The purposes for which the data may be used by the Company include but are not limited to:

   1. service surveys

   2. direct marketing

   3. appeals for donation

   4. public notices

   5. other operations of the Company in connection with the related purposes

Failure to supply such data may result in the Company being unable to provide services. The Company may also use the names, contact numbers, addresses and email address of customers or other persons for the purpose of direct marketing on shareholder or stakeholder activities, or donation appeals unless those persons have opted out from such use.

Personal Data Held by the Company

Personal data that are normally held by the Company may include but are not limited to the following:

   1. name

   2. organisation name

   3. nature of business

   4. postal address

   5. telephone/pager/fax number/email address

   6. other data in connection with the operations of the Company

Transfer of Personal Data

Personal data held by the Company will be kept confidential but the Company may provide such information to:

   1. any other person or corporation under a duty of confidentiality to the Company which has undertaken to keep such information confidential

   2. where such disclosure is authorized or required by law

   3. other third party organisations which assist in the Company's operations

Access and Correction of Personal Data

The Ordinance provides persons with rights to ascertain whether the Company holds personal data relating to them, to obtain a copy of those data, and to correct any data that are inaccurate. Requests for access and correction should be in writing and addressed to:

In accordance with the terms of the Ordinance, the Company has the right to charge a reasonable fee for the processing of any data access request.

Opt out from Use of Personal Data for Direct Marketing

Person who does not wish the Company to use their personal data for direct marketing may at any time make such request, without charge, to the Company.
