Power Assets has three major subsidiaries in Hong Kong – The Hongkong Electric Company, Ltd (HK Electric), Power Assets Investments Ltd (PAI) and Associated Technical Services Limited (ATS).
Established in 1889, HK Electric is a power utility supplying electricity to Hong Kong Island and Lamma Island. PAI is the investment arm of Power Assets with investments in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Mainland China, Canada and Thailand. ATS is an engineering consultancy serving the power supply industry in and outside Hong Kong.
